Trellis House is a student and professional housing project at Howard University that was built for mixed income. A percentage of units were specifically set aside for professors, low to moderate incomes and market rates. This project also consists of a voluntary remediation of a brownfield site, a recreated mural of the demo building on site installed in the lobby to maintain neighborhood cultural connection, a green roof as well as a rooftop resident garden/greenhouse, energy efficiency, water efficiency and convenient connection to transportation and other resources.
